As the title says !
I work 27 hours a week . I am absolutely exhausted. I feel constantly tired . I feel I am failing 14 month old. Husband says I am just ‘tired all the time !’
I haven’t got into Christmas swing at all. No shopping or decorations. I had a chest infection for 2 weeks and I believe I got it as I am just exhausted. I am much better now but feel like I can’t cope with 6 more months of pregnancy.
Help!

No advice just wanted to say your not alone, I work part-time, have a 1 year old and a 3 year old and I'm 10 weeks pregnant and I'm absolutely exhausted all the time 😔 it's soo hard, but you should start feeling better soon 2nd trimester is usually much easier x

Those first few months are so hard! I definitely started to feel like I had a bit more energy around 4/5 months pregnant.
Hopefully your husband can give you the opportunity to put your feet up over Christmas!
And any comment to 'oh you're tired all the time' should be met with yes I'm growing an entirely new human! 😂

Just wanted to say, being pregnant with a toddler is awful! It’s not you, it really is awful 🤣 You have no immune system and pick up every bug and are completely exhausted.
I’ve found having a newborn and a toddler practically a walk in the park in comparison. Feel like myself again!

The way I made peace with it was by telling myself my toddler wouldn’t remember this phase of our lives. I’ve possibly messed up by letting her watch 9 months of excessive tv to survive but I have the rest of her life to make up for it.

Also I know I’m not having anymore and I could do a happy dance every time I remember that. So if you know it’s last time you will have to do it that can be comforting. We struggled to have our children and now they are here safe and I don’t have to do it again makes me joyful 😄

good luck! It won’t last forever x

@Ivofexpressoplease Thank you ! That made me giggle and smile.
The moment my DS was born and I wasn’t pregnant I was on top of the world so I am hoping toddler and newborn is nothing compared to toddler and pregnant!!!!

And yes- this will be my last pregnancy! So I have to remember that .

Like you say - toddler won’t remember me being pregnant and this time next year ( all being well !!!) I will have a glass of mulled wine , 2 lovely children and the knowledge I’ll never be pregnant again! Just now got to push on for 6 months . I know it is a blessing to be pregnant , I just needed a handhold !

Absolutely! And you deserve a hand hold. I went to the GP when I was about 3 months pregnant with my 2nd and said I know it’s winter and I am pregnant but this can’t be a normal amount of sickness, there must be something wrong. Think I’d been sick with back to back illnesses since conception! They said no it’s normal and don’t forget you can’t take anything and definitely don’t have a lemsip 🥲

I’m currently having that Xmas you describe and it’s wonderful 🎉
In the meantime though relax into it and get any rest you can. Take people up on offers to help etc and roll your eyes if anyone moans that you’re tired all the time - only someone who has no concept of how crappy being pregnant physically feels would say that haha xxx
