Can anyone help give advice? What is ideal bd timing to get pg?

I have been ttc for ages and have read conflicting advice about bd timing - some say bd as much as poss in the three or so days before ovulation and others to only bd every 3 days. Which is correct?

it's OK, you can say shag on here , bd makes us vulgar oldies scratch our heads and create frown lines on our aged brows.

I think it's the first one

ha ha! Thanks Suzy. Have struggled to get to grip with the abbreviations used elsewhere!

We did it every single day the month i got pregnant

We tried to stick to once a day all month when I got pregnant, but sometimes we got carried away and did it twice or three times. We know we conceived on the 12th day after my period and we'd had a lot of sex the night before that, but also on that night. I reckon it was the sperms from the night before that did it.

Oh and also, the month before, we were doing it like 4-6 times a day (we were still at that can't keep hands off each other stage) and we didn't get pregnant that month. So I assume once a day is enough. Also, stick your legs in the air, or a pillow under your bum afterwards for a while- then they can travel up the right way.

And the sticky mucus thing is a good indicator.
