Anyone any experience of Christmas Babies? Mine is due 26 Dec. Any helpful comments.
I cannot even decide what to do about Christmas dinner. Our families all live an hour away over the Pennines so I don't fancy the trip as it gets very foggy at that time of year. Probably have it at our house with or without me.
Also what do people do about birthdays in years to come?

My DD was due 22nd December, arrived at 8pm on Christmas Eve! But all was well and we were home for 11am on Christmas Day. As I had been convinced I would go massively overdue, we had arranged for my family to come over for Christmas dinner and bring turkey, sausages, etc and we would cook some veg... as it was, we just had turkey, sausages, cheese- an 'Atkins' Christmas dinner, but nobody really cared as we had a newborn to coo over
We are planning on having half-birthday parties for her in the summer, starting this year, although she's still too young to realise and everybody is under strict instructions to give her 2 presents. I did end up putting quite a few things away for later in the year, as there was just so much all at once, but that may not work as she gets older!
