Hey!
So we found out a couple of weeks ago that we are pregnant from
our first frozen embryo transfer..The last couple of days I’ve had mild period like pains but today at work I felt a gush (sorry TMI) and when I went to the toilet there was red blood on the tissue which then start coming heavier and passed a medium sized clot. Work obviously sent me home but by the time I got home the bleeding slowed right down and the cramps well they feel just like my normal period cramps all in my back and down below and achy legs(just like a period) I did another test which is very much still positive(I got a dye stealer) and CB digital still says pregnant 2-3. I’ve been to the EPU for an hcg test too🤞🏻 I have an history of miscarriages and I’ve also had an ectopic pregnancy too, the pain is completely different to the ectopic but now I’m sat here terrified. Is bleeding and cramping like a period normal? Xxx

@EmmaLouiise1990 It's a hard one to say if it's normal but when I found I I was pregnant 3 days later this happened to me I still was getting positive tests as it takes weeks for the levels to return to normal, my doctors said I had to wait 3 weeks to do a test and that's all I could do was to wait! That longest wait ever! We had sex 1 week after the first bleed and it happened again so we didn't do it again and still haven't since. I wrote a post on here about what was happening to me and I only heard bad things but I'm now 10 weeks and still pregnant so it's not all bad hopefully your levels come back high and it's good news for you 🤞🤞🤞

Thank you so much for your reply!!! It’s a scary thing early pregnancy isn’t it? I’m so sorry that you went through this too but congratulations on your pregnancy:) I will get my hcg result in the morning and they said they will hopefully be able to book me in for an early scan. My early scan with fertility clinic isn’t until 4 th January which EPU said is way too far away given my history so I’m just grateful my tests are still dark even darker then the last one I did. With my other miscarriages they got lighter really quickly so I’m trying to take this has a good sign🤞🏻 xx

Hey!! Just an update..I had my hcg results this morning which came back at over 5000 so I had to go EPU for an early scan and I’m pleased to say that baby is measuring absolutely perfect and it is the right place, no heart beat detected as still too early but I have a scan on 4th January too so at least I feel reassured now, said it looks like the bleeding was an implantation bleed has the bleeding has stopped and the cramps have eased off too

@EmmaLouiise1990 That's amazing news I'm so happy to hear everything went well, blood is scary in pregnancy and Google only makes things worse sometimes which is why I had to post to say it's not all Doom and gloom ☺️ I have everything crossed for you that you have a happy healthy pregnancy ❤️
