I recently opted for the Countess over the Maelor in case I go for an elective c section as I've heard they don't offer it easily in Wales.
However I've since read the Countess maternity has been in special measures recently and ordered to make improvements! I'm now panicking I've made a bad choice.
I honestly don't feel safe at the thought of giving birth in any NHS ward at the moment and that is part of why I'm seriously considering an elective section as I dont want Russian roulette of a natural or to be left to it on an understaffed ward. It's my first so am so apprehensive.
