So I got a positive hpt at 7 dpo I had implantation bleeding about 5/6 days before which was quite heavy spotting
Had bloods done at
10dpo they was 137
12dpo they was 349
15dpo they was 1362
Had sore boobs from 7dpo which is what made me actually test. My numbers seem quite high though and I'm worried as twins run in my family, could this be an indication for twins? If anyone could post there levels with either twins or singleton it would be much appreciated

My HCG was 960 at 16 dpo. I was also very concerned about twins but had a singleton.

Are you definitely sure of your dates? 7 dpo is surely too early for a positive? FRER’s earliest is usually 9 or 10 dpo with even 8 dpo being rare (I’ve heard 0.5%).

My hcg was just under 1300 at 15dpo and 19000 at 22dpo with my first daughter, as we wondered this at the time too. There's quite a crossover between twin & singleton ranges. Twins run in my father's side of the family. Other pregnancies have been around 3000 at 21-22dpo.

Completely sure of my dates as I donated my eggs 2 months ago had my normal bleed 4 weeks later and then I had what was possible IB around 2 weeks ago. Plus they scanned me last week because of the bleeding but there was no sign on pregnancy so they said I was around 3-4 weeks at that point and then did bloods

Thankyou! I've been googling as you do and everyone with high hgc levels seems to have twins so I kind of wanted someone with high numbers to have a single pregnancy 😅

Thanks so much 🙌🏻

Anecdotally I asked around at the time of my high HCG test too and heard of lots of people who had high HCG but didn’t end up with twins.

Amy7912 · 21/12/2022 17:44

That's give me a bit of hope, not like I wouldn't mind twins but I have 3 daughter's already so I'm happy with a singleton pregnancy 😅

I’m with you. My preference was and is a singleton too. For so many reasons!

My HCG has been super high in all my pregnancies, I can't remember the numbers now but unusually high and well into the "probably twins" range every time. All singletons! I did have ferocious HG every time though which apparently might be linked to my tendency to pump out the HCG like crazy!

Amy7912 · 21/12/2022 20:23

Well I now have hope that there's just one 🙌🏻😂 I'm glad I did this post

At 4+3 my hcg was just 19! I was told likely a failing pregnancy but 9 months later I had my baby!
