Topical colloidal silver in pregnancy?

Hi - I'm 24 weeks pregnant and my DD recently had conjunctivitis and we decided to try using colloidal silver (sprayed onto a wet cotton wool ball, dabbed over eyes for about a week) to see if it helped clear it before antibiotics. It worked well and it's all gone! But then I suddenly realised that because I'd been applying it to her eyes, I would also have got a bit of the colloidal silver on my fingers. Obviously not loads but now I am worried! I wouldn't take it during pregnancy as I know it's not confirmed safe, but would a tiny bit on fingers generally be ok? Does anyone know?
