Nails?

Hi

im booked to get my nails done for Christmas but I am 5 weeks pregnant and hesitant whether this is the right thing to do. I already have nails off and don’t know the safest way to get them off

Your nail tech will be able to advise you. I'd have thought you will be ok tbh

Thank you for your advice what about if you accidentally bite your nails once been in contact with acetone

@EllaK1999 Honestly I’ve never thought of that but I’d imagine if you give your hands a wash after it would be okay? I doubt much is left on your skin/nails anyway xx

All your skin will melt off and then you will die.

I had acrylic nails all the way through my first pregnancy. I googled it and it's totally safe apparently. its only harmful if your exposed to it all day evey day.

I had gel nails throughout my pregnancy, they don't affect your baby.

You will be fine op
