Nausea help!

Hi,

im 8+3 with my second baby and I am genuinely struggling to be a human being. I have 24/7 nausea (only been sick about 4 times) it’s mostly just the constant feeling that I need to be sick. It is horrific. Does anyone have any handy tips to help ease it? I’m planning to try and get a GP app for anti sickness meds but in the current climate a GP appt is like gold dust so I’m trying to find other ways to help meanwhile.

the nausea really is a blessing, this is my rainbow baby and I’m so unbelievably relieved to be feeling like this, but on the other hand, I still have a 5 year old to be a mum to and I’m just struggling 🥺

Honestly, the only thing that’s helped me is meds. My GP said no at first but the midwife spoke to him and got me a prescription. It’s a pain but 1000x worth it.

Sorry you’re struggling. I’m 6+1 and it’s been horrible all week with nausea. I got those travel sickness acupressure bands from boots which helped a bit. Hope the meds work out for you!
I also just find really cold lemonade helps (sugar free so my teeth don’t rot!).

Sorry to hear your struggling, nausea really is a bummer! I’ve posted almost identical to you today, so we’re in the same boat. Im 10+ weeks and have has nausea almost straight away - baby number 2 after multiple miscarriages.

I’ve been unable to care for my two year old which feels rubbish, today was a real low point of just vomiting all day! I’ve been given the anti nausea medication and it did help generally but I feel so spaced out on it and extremely fatigued - one of the common side effects. I therefore feel I have to chose daily on wether to feel sick or confused and tired!

Im sorry I don’t have any great advice apart from trying the nausea medication as you may have a more positive result. I just keep convincing myself it will be over soon, maybe wishful thinking!

I hope you have a good support network, it’s certainly a challenging time! I hope it gets better for you soon xx

One thing that helped me was ginger biscuits.
