20 weeks pregnant with our rainbow baby. Having nerves about 20 week scan next week. My twin miscarriage was a missed miscarriage so I’m always conscious that this baby has passed and I don’t know about it

Oops forgot to add the main reason I posted lol can anyone relate to this and how did you calm your nerves?

Hi. It's very normal to feel nervous, I felt the same. What made me feel better was knowing the facts. Even on the NHS website it says most scans will be fine, it's only really a small percentage that find something bad and even if they did (unlikely), there's nothing you can do about it at all. Chances are, all will be fine.

I was a nervous wreck before 12 and 20 week scans, after a MMC. Three things helped: movement (walking, yoga) - it literally burns cortisol; reminding myself that the odds were overwhelmingly on my side for a healthy baby, even after I was unlucky before; and just accepting that I was going to feel rubbish and not “enjoying my pregnancy” until I was more out of the woods. Best of luck OP x

I've spent some time on this this morning... datayze.com/miscarriage-reassurer

Don't have much advice, just feel exactly the same as you after my MMC, and worrying about it in the early hours of the morning.

So much good luck for the scan x
