Hey all, I'm looking for some reassurance and not just Google searches.

Bit of background I'm early in my pregnancy (4+4) and this is my 4th rainbow 🌈 I've had 3 rcm in the last 18months. This time I'm taking clexane daily and additional supplements.

All has been well, but this morning my boobs which have been heavy and a little tender..... But now feels more or less normal? Still large but not as they were at all I would even say feel normal.

As you can imagine my anxiety has gone through the roof. But is this the "norm"? I just keep thinking the worst as you can imagine from past experiences. So if anyone can give me some reassurance on this it would be appreciated...xxxx

Hi @letshope first of all congratulations! 💕
I’ll be 10 weeks on Monday and I’ve had good days and bad days, some days I think my symptoms have gone completely and then the next day they’re worse than ever! I think it’s just all part of the wild ride that is the first trimester 😅

Daisy1992 · 17/12/2022 14:06

Hi, bumping for you as I am hoping others will respond. I am 6+6 and my boobs have gone from feeling so tender and sore to pretty much normal overnight, I am sure all is fine and have read its normal for symptoms to come and go. I have a private scan booked for Tuesday x

Animallover87 · 17/12/2022 14:21

I'm so glad you guys have posted as I'm feeling the exact same. I'm 6+5 and have had the worst nausea ever for a whole week and sore boobs for longer. Yesurday and today I feel completely back to normal. One one hand I'm pleased I finally feel normal again but I'm also so worried. This is such a rollercoaster (first pregnancy)

LoisLane22 · 17/12/2022 14:29

I'm 10 weeks now and definitely have good days and bad days. Symptoms aren't necessarily linear. Midwife said it's totally normal and quite common.

letshope · 17/12/2022 14:50

@thelma57

Thanks both for getting back to me. It's been a horrible horrible day!!!! I think my anxiety has well and truly got the best of me. Obviously I haven't had the easiest journey with ttc so my boobs this morning going "normal" from a bit tender and sent me into overdrive of panic.

Its nice to hear from other ladies In the same boat who are pregnant now as well because its like real time if that makes sense. I'm really hoping that its just one of those things where they've just eased off and hopefully something else will replace them. Sounds crazy doesn't it wanting to have sore boobs or sickness or something to give you the reassurance.

I don't have my early scan booked until beginning of January so an anxious xmas I think Is going to be on the cards for me, unless anything changes.

@Daisy1992 awww how are you feeling at the moment with the boobs soreness going? I really hope your scan goes well this week. Please keep me posted xxxxx

I've had this the entire time since bfp and have been in tears about it at times, only for symptoms to come back after a day or two! I'm now 11 weeks and saw a heartbeat on an early scan recently. Everything I can see points to it being common. Hope that helps!

letshope · 17/12/2022 14:57

@Animallover87 aww hun I feel you! It's not good is it! But we just need to keep going and hope for the best.xx

@LoisLane22 thanks for that info from the midwife. It's nice to hear something from a professional.
When you say good days and bad days, do you mean sympton wise I'm presuming xxx

@salemsongbird awww thank you so much, That makes me feel so much better!! Tears.... oh yes. I'm walking around like a puffy eyed panda today. So glad we have this as it gives you some insight to other people journey and are able to support one another xxxx

@lletshope I'm trying to stay positive and have seen other people talk about how their symptoms come and go but it is hard not to worry. I feel exactly the same as you as actually wanting to feel sick and have other symptoms, I actually found the sore boobs exciting as I felt pregnant.. I'm sure all is fine and it is normal to feel better some days and worse others. I wasn't sure whether to book an early scan, but now I am looking forward to the reassurance, I will let you know how it goes and will ask them about the symptoms while I'm there!

letshope · 17/12/2022 23:31

@Daisy1992 awww please do and fingers crossed for you all goes well xxx

I'm still an emotional mess this evening, don't know if I'm coming or going. Just keep hoping this is my time xxx

letshope · 18/12/2022 22:37

@Animallover87 awww well that's a good thing!! In a weird way 🤣 xx

I'm doing better today thank you. Anxiety is still there but it's better than it was.x

Boobs have been on and off today with being sore. Not as sore as they were but sore at some times though out today.x

I'm just trying to stay as positive as I can. How are the boobs with you, back? Or just your nausea xxxx

@letshope on and off with boobs too. I'm just gonna try and get through these last few days of work without vomiting then I have 2 weeks off! Don't feel like I can make any plans though the way I'm feeling, just want to rest xx

letshope · 19/12/2022 07:57

@Animallover87 awww I'm glad yo hear your symptons are back (as awful as nausea can be) gives you the reassurance you needed to put you at ease💞

It's nice for us ladies in the same boat to hear too that symptons can come and go and come back again. Wish there was more support though for the anxiety side of things after loss. I just seem to keeping a handle on it in work today but its so so Hard not to be thinking the worst when your symptons fade off. 😞 xxxxx

All the best, Daisy!

Daisy1992 · 20/12/2022 20:27

@lletshope @Animallover87 thank you both! It went well 🥰 the baby just looked like a little blurry blob 😆 but could clearly see/hear the heartbeat which was amazing to see. We were told the baby is the right size for what we thought and is in the right place.

My symptoms have also started to come back, boobs are not as painful as before are tender in the evenings, and have started to get more nausea in the evenings too. So I think it must be normal for symptoms to come and go for some people.

Hope you're okay x

Animallover87 · 20/12/2022 20:30

@Daisy1992 That's amazing, so happy for you. I doubt I'll be able to wait til 1st Feb for NHS scan so might try and book private too.

My sickness is back with a vengeance. I'm a teacher and my class were running rings round me today but I was feeling to nauseous to do anything about it 😂

letshope · 21/12/2022 08:20

@Daisy1992 amazing news!!!!!!!! 👏

I'm OK hun still anxious. Boobs aren't sore and feel normal still.xx

What will be will be. I've been super emotional and having weird dreams but that's it. Obviously my history of repeat miscarriages aren't helping 🙄 but fingers crossed...xxx
