Hi everyone

Im currently 9+5 weeks pregnant. Ive had three miscarriages, one being spontaneous at 7 weeks, a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks and another missed miscarriage discovered at 12 week scan. Due to this I’m an anxious mess, EPU are finally looking after me, I’ve had a scan at 7 weeks with a perfect heartbeat and another scan at 9 weeks with another perfect heartbeat and growth. Im absolutely over the moon but still terrified it could all go wrong , EPU have prescribed me 150mg of aspirin and progesterone pessaries to take morning and night. This is my first medicated pregnancy I have a DD and she was a straight forward pregnancy and birth.

Im basically wanting to hear success stories of other ladies who have used progesterone or aspirin during their pregnancy and gone on to have a healthy baby. I have another scan in two weeks time but I'm just desperately trying to keep my anxieties at bay, its been a long road and I’m desperate for a baby in my arms.

Thank you for reading x

Yep so before dd1 I had 5 miscarriages early on. Literally pregnant every cycle but then would start bleeding. I read about aspirin and put myself on it. I had an appointment with a consultant for the miscarriages so by the time I got it I was 6 weeks and he said to carry on with the aspirin. Carried her to 38 weeks and she’s now 9. With my second I got pregnant accidentally/ unplanned and was about 6 weeks when I realised. Didn’t take aspirin because I had really strong lines and decent numbers on a blood test. Discovered it was a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks. When we started trying again, I used aspirin from the get go and the result is currently climbing all over me 😊. So yes I think aspirin can do the job for some women. No experience of progesterone though.

Hi OP
I'm so sorry for your losses.. I know you'll want to do everything you can to help your pregnancy along.. I had two MMC in a row so I took it upon myself to take 75mg of aspirin from the day I found out about my third pregnancy. I took it everyday along with extra folic acid and vitamin d ( on top of my pregnacare tablets)
I took aspirin till week 38. Baby very healthy ( 🤞🏼)
Good luck on your journey.. do what you feel is right Flowers

What aspirin is people taking? My acupuncture lady recommends to me take take a low dose but all the aspirin I see in the shop are like 300mg so unsure of where to start? Iv had two Mc within 3.5 months

@Daniki initially I ordered 75mg on Amazon but they stopped, then I found some in asda, they stopped too :/ then I just bought low doses from chemists, though when they could see I was visibly pregnant they wouldn't sell it to me without a prescription if I said it was for me... so my OH get them for me or I said they weren't for me.... 🫣 - when desperate I broke tablets in half
