I have 2 older boys 13 & 11, my husband & I were told after several years of trying we couldn't conceive due to endometriosis & adenomyosis. We grieved & moved on around 3 years ago. 2 weeks of feeling really unwell led to a - this seems unlike a bug .. Q the pregnancy test - solid positive - complete shock !!!
With my boys I had some nausea but mild - but otherwise minimal symptoms that didn't effect my day to day - this time I'm so unwell nausea all day - spending a lot of time in bed & very noticeable & difficult to hide gipping etc - constantly hungry - headaches coming & going - with mild cramping coming & going. (didn't track periods but work out to be around 8 1/2 weeks - midwife next week couldn't get in earlier - no scan scheduled by them as yet :-(
I'm worried of complication due to my medical conditions - anyone else with the same conditions that have had success without complication ? but can anyone shed light on the feeling ill on 3rd pregnancy - is it likely due to being much older now ? could it indicate a girl ? Also with the boys I had no signs of showing or clothes problems well past 12 weeks - I cant get in jeans, struggling to continue in work trousers. Feel very full & bloated if that makes sense didn't have this with boys. I worry these things could be down to my condition & be things to possibly worry about as i have a enlarged uterus due to adenomyosis.

Congratulations on your pregnancy, no wonder your heads in a spin after going through all of that. I have no specific advice but remember you're a decade older so it's no suprise this pregnancy might be hiting you harder than last time. I hope the rest of pregnancy is uneventful

Thank you :-) I feel the decade for sure ! I'm a huge worrier and after everything I worry something will just go wrong :-( I really shouldn't but very difficult not to

Hello, I feel your struggles, I found out on the 10th October I was pregnant with a 8 year age gap.
ibhave never felt so ill in all my life, I’m nauseous 24 hours a day headaches, and can not keep my eyes open, even fell asleep at the cinema yesterday with my daughter! I feel totally mum guilt and I am always the one with beams of energy but I just can’t do anything, totally different from my pregnancy with my daughter to the point I didn’t even know I was pregnant with her until 10 weeks! I felt totally normal but again this could be a decade age difference as I’m now older.! I really hope I start to feel better soon and like you I’ve had no dates for a scan as yet so just hoping each day is a step forward to feeling better.
