Any history of twins in the family?

DH and I went for an early reassurance scan last week. At the time, I was 8 weeks pregnant by my dates.

They asked this question when they were pressing on my tummy but only found one baby. However, I’m wondering if they asked that for a reason!

It’s a standard question. The tendency to produce fraternal twins can run in the family but only on the mother’s side.
