Worried. Flipped my stomach over when I was half asleep.

I'm 15 weeks pregnant. Last night I half woke up and kind of sat up. As I did, I felt a weird sensation in my stomach like half of it flipped up and half of it was left there. Really worried that I've done something to the baby.

I remember doing that with my first pregnancy and feeling worried... it was an odd sensation (I guess because your organs are adjusting to your expanding uterus) but baby was fine (they're very well cushioned in there)!

Your body is designed to protect your baby and normal movement isn't going to hurt it (for what it's worth, I also slept on my front and had a two year old who didn't always remember to be careful with my second pregnancy and baby was still fine).

Sitting up in bed won’t have done anything to the baby. Try not to worry. It’s just a new sensation.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate your replies. Overwhelmed with work and the weather and everything else and then pregnancy worries on top... I'm feeling fragile.
