Do faint test lines indicate miscarriage?

I'm 35 years old 8 weeks pregnant. My lines were dark at the beginning, but now they are extremely faint. I checked for the "hook effect" even though that doesnt happen until 11+ weeks and is incredibly rare. And with urine diluted it only got slightly darker. I should also add that i have used multiple brands side by side with results and even the "how many weeks tests" now show lighter as well.

At 6 1/2 weeks, I did have some blood for a few days, but it stopped. My breasts are still sore, but not as sore as before. However, I am still nauseous. Before anyone says the obvious, "only the doctor can tell you for sure," I'm very well aware of that, but cannot see the doctor yet. I have other serious health problems, so I just want to know what to expect and "if" in your experience it is likely or unlikely.

Please give me your honest opinion and not something to keep me hopeful as I am very ill, so it would actually be a blessing in my situation to miscarry.

There are loads of reasons for a faint test, like diluted urine, brand specificity and how much urine the test "catches"

Could you book a private scan for piece of mind? I know 12 weeks is a long time to wait for an NHS one?
