Hi everyone! I've seen a couple of older threads about lack of symptoms in pregnancy but wondered if anyone is currently going through the same? I'm 10 weeks pregnant and my symptoms seem to have vanished! My symptoms were never too bad anyway, just tiredness really! Apart from a bad cold, I feel absolutely fine! We had a scan at 8 weeks which looked great but I can't help feeling paranoid. We conceived via ICSI and this is our first baby so I'm just so worried! Midwife appointment is next week! Xxx

@peanutpending I’m 10 weeks on Friday (also currently have a cold lol) and have absolutely nothing to suggest that I’m pregnant. I have a private scan next week so I’m hoping and praying to see a healthy baby there this time as I’ve had 2 miscarriages previously with my ex.
Its great that you have seen your baby already so even though you did not have many symptoms anyway, you have seen a baby there!
I’m sure the baby is absolutely fine and I understand where you’re coming from, when you want a symptom/sign that you are pregnant, even if it is constant sickness! xx

Hi @Katr960 - thanks so much for your response! Haha how strange we've both got a cold and 10 weeks! Yes as we went through ICSI we automatically had an 8 week scan with the clinic and we could see the tiny little heartbeat. You just hear of these people who have early scans which are fine and then sadly they don't make it :(

Honestly I was expecting so many symptoms as my mum had a terrible pregnancy with me but honestly apart from some cramping very early on and extreme tiredness that's it! I actually feel better than I did before finding out I was pregnant Grin apart from this cold! Xxx

@peanutpending just remember that it’s less than 4% of people who see a heart beat at 8 weeks and then miscarry. By 10 weeks it’s less than 1% of people. The vast majority of pregnant women don’t post about it online, which is why you read more negative stories. And remember everything is on your side 😊

Thank you @TheWeeLittleDonkey - that's really reassuring! Xxx

I've always found that people go on alot about symptoms but I never really had any and my little girl is coming up for a year so don't worry it's normal

peanutpending · 14/12/2022 18:38

Hi @Catdaft - that's the thing, you always read about all these symptoms and I'm just waiting for them 😂 should count myself lucky really!

@peanutpending you sound exactly like me.
I’m 13+2 now and whenever someone asks how I am my immediate response is still not feeling pregnant 😂
Had a scan at 11+1 and all was fine and NIPT came back all low risk so trying to not stress and trying to just be grateful now 🤞🏻

MrNook · 14/12/2022 18:45

I had the exact same with my DD at 10 weeks (think I posted about it too under a different name) and I went for a private scan and everything was fine. The sonographer said it's really common at around 9-10 weeks when the placenta starts to take over

peanutpending · 14/12/2022 18:45

Congratulations @firsttimelondonmummy ❤️ Haha I'm just the same. People ask me how I am and I'm like "fine which concerns me" 😂😂 I've only had the one scan and seeing the midwife next week so hopefully I'll be a little more reassured. I'm a chronic tester and it's driving DH mad!

@MrNook ah I have heard this as well to be honest! I think it's the fact that apart from this cold...I feel great 😂
