Can anyone see a line.

1st picture - took a week ago , since then I thought I came on my period . Seemed normal period to me . So thought definitely not pregnant .

2nd / last pic . Just taken tonight , and my sister says she can see a line .

I'm very confused as I had a bleed like a period !! Around the time my period was due as well .... can anyone else see lines ? But faint

@Anonymousgirlxoxox sounds like it could be a chemical pregnancy? 😢

Anonymousgirlxoxox · 13/12/2022 22:41

@firsttimelondonmummy what's one of them ?

‘A chemical pregnancy is a very early miscarriage that happens within the first five weeks of pregnancy. An embryo forms and may even embed in your uterus lining (implantation), but then it stops developing. Chemical pregnancies occur so early that many people who miscarry don't realize it.’

If you hadn’t tested you might assume it was a normal period.
Sometimes you can test positive for a couple of weeks after.

‘A chemical pregnancy is a very early miscarriage that occurs when an egg is fertilized but doesn’t fully implant in the uterus.’

A little more info above.

Ok I might go the doctors and check

There is nothing a doctor can do about a chemical pregnancy. Sorry, OP.

Anonymousgirlxoxox · 13/12/2022 23:06

@TheShellBeach I know that but wouldn't it show up in a blood test ? Id would like to know if I was or not

OP posts:
TheShellBeach · 13/12/2022 23:14

I doubt if a doctor would do a blood test.

Lianna93 · 13/12/2022 23:39

Could have been implantation bleeding which varies person to person. There definitely seems to be a faint line there. Have you tried first response?
When I was pregnant, I used a Tesco cheapie that was a proper squinter to see the line but when I took the first response, there was no denying the line.

Anonymousgirlxoxox · 13/12/2022 23:41

That's them edited ... 1st pic defffo ,

@Lianna93 I was thinking that too but unsure as it was quite abit for 3 days but quite watery

Definitely can see a line. First response are designed to pick up a pregnancy a few days before your period is due, so if you're able to get one of those, you'll get a more definitive answer :)

Looks like a chemical pregnancy - no need to see a doctor and blood tests are no more accurate than these tests. Also they wouldn’t do them. Doctors just go by OTC tests.

lemmein · 14/12/2022 00:06

I can definitely see a line in both pics but I would expect the 2nd test to have a stronger line if they were taken a week apart.

I'd give it another week and test again.
