Help please..I found out I'm pregnant today and works out I'm about 4 week and thinking about getting an abortion, I'm scared because I don't know what one is going to be safer for me by the time I get my appointment I've got a consultant appointment Monday to talk things over. I'm also scared cos when I had my child a year ago I hemorrhaged so scared of what will happen any advice would be much appreciated

Have you contacted bpas, msi or Nupas? I recommend contacting them depending on who funds you're area. At this early stage you could have a medical abortion like I did. It's with pills and you just bleed like a period. Have a look on the pregnancy choices topic area for other peoples experiences.

Yeah I contacted Marie stopes I think it is and I have a over the phone appointment Monday, I'm just Abit scared cos of the feeling of passing it and wondering if surgical would be a better option for me

Hi, Hope you are doing ok. I had a medical termination before and the whole process was manageable at home. It was painful, but they prescribed codeine which helped a lot. I would say it only really hurt for 1-2 hours and was nothing compared to labour. I bled when passing the foetus, but after it wasn't too bad. The earlier you have it the more straightforward a medical termination is. Mine was at 8 weeks. Any other questions please feel free to ask.

Hello, thank you for you comment I'm just scared to get it done as I hemorrhaged with my last birth nearly 2 years ago, so just wondering if that would impact it at all, it's been a hard decision to make but I know it'd for.the best for many reasons, how does it feel passing it is it just like a blood clot sorry for asking.

Hi all, looking for some advice on medical abortion i have a call booked for tomorrow and starting to stock up before pill’s arrival. Any suggestions on what kind of pads are best pls? Will the incontinence pads work? Worried about bleeding as i have to get out for nursery runs. Hoping to find suggestions on pads to use. Will the normal period pads work?
