4D Scan after 20 weeks??

Hi,

I am not sure whether to go for a private ultrasound scan. I am 27 weeks and I have already had extra NHS scans at 12,14,15 weeks due to some bleeding (which was all okay). On top of the two standard scans, I have had 5 already. The reason I am considering one now is that it would just put my mind at ease to know everything is developing/growing as it should be (Pregnancy anxiety is something else). The private scan would be in 4D.

Google unfortunately has mixed answers on the safety of lots of ultrasounds and I wouldn't want to do anything unnecessary to risk the baby!!

Thank you in advance :)

4d scans are fine, best about 27 weeks I found out when I was looking to book mine, as baby is developed enough to get a good view but still plenty of space!

I had a 4d scan at 28+5 and it was an amazing experience so glad we did it. I am 35 weeks now and have had a total of 6 scans so far with another to go and no ill effects so far!
