6+5 weeks pregnant, worried about symptoms

Hello mums,

Im just wondering if anyone has any advice or has been in the same similar situation. I have a 4 year old daughter and around 2 weeks ago I finally got my BFP after 2.5 years of trying (yay) however I’m worried about my lack of pregnancy symptoms.

I took a test on the 29th of October, and immediately had sore/tender breasts, I was sick after meals and had the lovely stomach cramps, however that only lasted 3-5 days max and now the only pregnancy symptom I seem to have, is nipple pain, the odd cramp and I guess fatigue.

With my first pregnancy with my daughter I was violently ill everyday for 9 months and was always told by doctors/midwives that the sickness is a good sign, and now that I’m not experiencing that anymore, I’m worried that there may be a reason for it - googling didn’t help this fear.

Ive heard people say that no pregnancies are the same, but I haven’t heard of anyone not have nausea or any sickness in the early stages.

I’ve booked an early scan for peace of mind and I can’t stop myself from doing pregnancy tests to make sure it’s still positive, but I can’t help but stress myself and worry.

As I said, any advice and help is so appreciated and welcome.
Thank you x

No pregnancy is the same for sure as you've said. With my first pregnancy, I fainted three times. Was constantly nauseous. Crazy headaches. But with my second the only symptom I really had was sore boobs. I even had some bleeding around 9 weeks, had a scan and all was fine. Don't worry too much. My second pregnancy was high risk due to high bp ( never had with my first ) and I was told by drs multiple times not to compare pregnancies. Congratulations Flowers

My last pregnancy sickness started at 3 weeks, this pregnancy at 6.5 weeks and no where near as bad as my last, I read sickness gets easier with subsequent pregnancies hoping it's true 🙏 and I know people who didn't get nausea at all so I wouldn't worry to much

Thank you both for your responses, yous have really helped me feel a bit more at ease with it.

I suppose I should be thankful I’m not stuck to the bathroom floor this time around rather than worried!

Lots of threads about early symptoms and worries if you take a look through for some reassurance. Only symptom I had was sore boobs and tiredness. Nausea started around second trimester for me.

Having said that, my sore boobs would come and go daily. It is also normal for symptoms to do that.
