Any recommendations for online exercise classes while pregnant?

Hello, I’m approaching my second trimester and want to do some exercises classes as I know it’s good for me and the baby. I was knackered during the first trimester so anything more than a walk was out of the question but I am feeling a bit more energetic now and would like to start doing a little more while I can.

Unfortunately there are zero classes in person where I live so online classes are my only option.

I am 40, size 12 (prior to pregnancy), not particularly active pre pregnancy but wasn’t in terrible shape either. I am looking for something that is quite easygoing to start with.

YouTube has so many classes I don’t really know where to start so any recommendations would be appreciated! TIA.

Hello - this isn’t youtube or anything but it’s an app called Reformed with Sophie - she does amazing pre natal and post natal workouts. I think it’s around £17 a month but a free trial to see if you like it! but well worth it. I’ve used it when not pregnant and intend to do so throighout my pregnancy (if I can be bothered 🤣) she’s great and really engaging and encouraging!

If you’re on Instagram, follow bumpsandburpees - she has loads of free classes under her videos, suitable for all stages of pregnancy and beyond

Hi @WarriorsComeOutToPlayaaay

I use the sweat app. She's just released a pregnancy safe program a few months ago and I'm really enjoying it. I'm only managing 1-2 a week at the moment but hoping that'll change once I get to the second trimester. 🤞😅

I started the Sweat app pregnancy programme in my second trimester too. Really enjoying it so far although you do pay for it - 14.99 a month I think.
I like the fact it’s a weekly programme tailored to each stage, it’s not repetitive like some of them and there’s also stretching and ‘extras’ you can do on it

@Excited423 very impressed you’re managing to do some in your 1st trimester , I barely got off the sofa in mine 😅

😂 Good to know it gets better. I've definitely spent a lot more time on the couch and in bed than normal the past while. 😅

I can definitely recommend bumpsandburpees. I start following her and it really good and reassuring. Just finished my 2nd Trismester and really struggling with low back pain. Good luck
