I am 6 weeks pregnant and since Wednesday I have been bleeding, last two days blood clots have been coming out. Had blood test Wednesday my HCG levels were high, got another blood test tomorrow. Had a scam Thursday and they couldn't hear heartbeat as I was to early, got another scan Thursday.

Do you think this is a miscarriage?

Hi hun,

I'm so sorry you're going through this.

It's hard to know, honestly every woman is very different and there is no one size fits all, aparently some women still have periods during pregnancy, but to me it potentially seems like a miscarriage, as I went through one myself and passed a lot of small clots like the images you've shared and then eventually one huge clot but everyone is different.

I assume the high HCG levels might be be because the miscarraige had just started, most likely by the next blood test they will have lowered significantly.

I hope I'm wrong hun but just prepare yourself in case a miscarraige is the case.

I felt really ill during the miscarraige like an extremely heavy period. How are you feeling with it?

Sending you lots of hugs from my end. Keep us updated will you?

Hello I didn't get any of this with my first preference. My sister bleed loads with her second child and clots and she thought she was having a miscarriage but her baby was fine.

To me it looks a miscarriage as well, Yeah I have a blood test tomorrow morning. Then a scan Thursday

I have some cramps but they are mild and don't hurt at all just uncomfortable, feels like a period pains. Yes I will keep you all updated

Hope you're ok and get some answers soon. I've had both scenarios. Bleeding that led to miscarriage and bleeding that wasn't a miscarriage.

I hope it's good news for you.

Sending love x

I think that’s a clot. The sac is only 12mm, and the embryo is only 6mm. That looks too big.

Hi lovely.

I'm so sorry this is happening to you.

I'm really sorry but I've reported this post as this latest picture could be triggering for many.

I am truly sorry, you must be going through a horrific time and I don't want to add to it, but you should know that I've reported it and I'm sure I won't be the only one.

All best wishes for the future, take care of yourself.

Nobody here can give you an answer. I had a fair bit of blood with my second baby and all was well but I think that you are bleeding a little more there so you probably need to prepare yourself mentally for not good news At your scan. At 6 weeks you’d struggle to spot a sac or anything baby- like so as above that is a clot. I hope you get some positive news at your scan but if you don’t please remember that miscarriages are sad but very natural. I’ve had 5 early miscarriages and one later at 11 weeks. I also have two lovely daughters who were definitely my rainbows.

Thank you! I am hoping its normal, thank you so much

Thank you! I am so sorry I didn't mean to trigger anyone I really didn't. Shall I remove it?

Anyone feeling fragile should not click on a pregnancy thread with "graphic image" in the title. It's hardly going to be a bump photo, is it.

The op has every right to post and should not have to apologise for possibly upsetting others.

Unfortunately there are upsetting things all around us.

@Lauren314 the last image you’ve posted looks like pregancy tissue to me. I never actually saw the baby during my mc. So sorry you’re going through this xx

Calmondeck · 12/12/2022 21:21

I had bleeding like this at 13 weeks with my first pregnancy, it’s incredibly distressing, I’m so sorry. In my case they never worked out what it was - bub was totally fine and is now a happy healthy 18 month old. Don’t lose hope yet.
