How old were you when you had your first baby

Me and my fiancé would like to start TTC (ideally we would like to get married before)

Curious to know how old people were when they had their first baby?

currently 25, will be 26 early next year

To add - dh and I were together for over 10 years before we had kids. Didn’t feel ready for kids till I was early 30s. Got married when I was 32, started trying for baby straight away. We wanted to be married first. I know it’s abit old fashioned but it was important to me.

To add, seeing as Pythonese obviously is shocked by my age, I got married at 19 to my children's father and 10 years on we are still happily married. Own our own house. Both work full time. Being a young parent certainly didn't affect how we brought up our children

32. Felt right. Partied and travelled right through my 20s and v early 30s. I'm also established in my career and on the property ladder. Expecting DC2 next month, I'll be 34.

Not married - no plans to be. I would not benefit.

27 and it’s was a good age for me.

Most of my friends didn’t start families until 34-36, though, so I was the odd one out for a few years.

I'm due in February and am 30, was 27 when we started trying though

34 & 38, perfect for me, but not perfect for someone else. I never understand anyone who gets on the defensive about their choices. I certainly had the energy and have been able to keep up with the boundless energy of my dc, I'm 55 now and perfectly able to relate to my dc.

My mum was 18 & 23 when she had my sister and then me, frankly, a phenomenal mother. I think seeing it from both sides let's me understand that it really isn't down to age whether you're a decent mother or not.

I had dc in my teens, 20's, 30's and 40's!!
