How old were you when you had your first baby

Me and my fiancé would like to start TTC (ideally we would like to get married before)

Curious to know how old people were when they had their first baby?

currently 25, will be 26 early next year

27 and my second is due next year when I'm 29

Then I'm done, couldn't imagine doing this in my late 30s!

26! Fantastic age honestly. Just had my 4th and now I’m 34 and found it much harder physically (but maybe that’s because I’ve had 4 haha)

19 for my first and 30 with my second.

I’d also agree about getting married first for sure!

20, very nearly 21. Had my second at 24

I turned 22 three days before DD1 was born 😊
23 with DD2

30, almost 31.

23 (2 days before)

Pregnant at 29 and turned 30 whilst pregnant. Wanted to start trying earlier but we had travel plans, then Covid hit and I went back into the NHS so had to wait til I qualified for enhanced mat leave

26,27&28

First at 25 and second at 27. First was a happy surprise. Second we planned because it just felt right to have free childcare kicking in for both by the time I'm 30 and I can really concentrate on work etc without worrying about more mat leave

41, second at 43. Cousin had hers at 45 and a friend at 46. Couldn't imagine having one at 26!

36 and 37 (after trying for a couple of years)

30, a few days shy of 31.

24 and was finished at 29, can't imagine having my first now in my early 40s (as some of my friends have done). Mine are becoming more and more independent, glad I did it that way around.

41 and second at 43.

33 & 38, I didn't want children any earlier, I was having too much fun travelling and partying.

21 for my one and only child. He's 40 now 😀

I didn’t meet my now DH until I was 28. And I still think that was quite young.
