Really bad back ache! Potential progestorone side affects?

I woke up with insane back ache.

And am now walking around like that witch from snow white.

Have been taking paracetamol but it's still quite sore and I can't straighten up properly. It's not to one side but sort of across where my bum meets my back in a horizontal line the whole way from my left to right side.

I phoned EPU and they said it didn't sound like it related to my pregnancy but to go to a&e if it didn't feel better as a precaution.

I managed to clean my kitchen since (so it definitely must be better!). I have been pretty constipated lately and wondering is that a cause? I am on progestorone pessaries which I have read causes muscle pains?

Can anyone advise or relate before I go spend the next 8 hours in a&e?

I get this, @Aismixx - I've had a few IVF cycles and the progesterone always gives me backache. I think it's something to do with progesterone relaxing the muscles and connective tissues, so they're more prone to strain.

I also had this with cyclogest, but only when I put them up my bum. Didnt seem to cause me any pain when I inserted them vaginally.

Best of luck with the pregnancy OP, and congratulations.
