I got diagnosed with a sch, the bleeding went brown and next to nothing and today its bright red again 😔 does this happen or could it be the end? I am cramping but they said it happens.

I had a hematoma like this and everything was fine in the end and baby healthy.
My symptoms were cramping like mild period, and red blood on wiping. It went brown, pale orange, pink , red again, brown and thick and gooey.. lasted a few weeks and scared the life out of me , but went away in the end , good luck

I had an sch with dd2 (12)

Was horrendous. I haemorraged pretty badly was admitted to hospital on 2 or 3 occasions. I didn't think it was possible fir a baby to survive what was coming out of me. I was so pale too. I looked like a junkie. White with my eyelids the darkest part of my face.

I did have cramping on one occasion too.

Everything was eventually OK. Dd was born 3 weeks and a day early and was a little on the small side ( 5lb 8. They had been concerned about her growth)

I would advise being aware of anaemia. It took a while for the drs to give me the original tablets despite me reporting dizziness and being unable to stay awake.

Thank you this is reassuring. I had one with my 1st pregnancy but don't ever remember it being like this. I thought it would be nearly stopped as it was brown and today its dark red again with clots and cramps 😔😔

I had this as well. Baby is now 13 days old! I had multiple bleeds, they'd all start bright red and very heavy and then change to brown and tail off before the next one happened. Its such a worry, all you can do is take it very easy and day by day but there's still hope. I hope it all works out for you.

I’m 29 weeks and a hema toma was found at my 20 week scan - it was 3cm and now is 4.5cm
ive had bleeding and been admitted into hospital - which drained me.
had a consultant ap and scan this week and he said I will most likely be early - be that by myself or being induced around 36weeks if it stays that size and I have more bleeding. Just looking to see if anyone else has been in this position?

I had them in both of my pregnancies, so much blood it was terrifying, it would calm down for a few days and turn brown then start gushing again with huge clots and mild cramps. It was awful, I'm so sorry you're going through this, but it doesn't necessarily mean the end. Both of my pregnancies ended with healthy full term babies.

With my second child I bled for the whole of my first trimester .

And i mean bled - properly flooded and soaked the sofa.

I had cramps and was so scared of going for a wee - it was like my womb was falling out.

I was admitted to hospital and told that it was very unlikely I would remain pregnant. And that would have to end the pregnancy anyway if bleeding continued.

My son is 15 now. He is absolutely gorgeous.

Mine was similar; started with pain, huge clots and gushes of red blood that I was certain was a miscarriage, then for weeks bled on and off in a variety of colours including bright red - particularly after I’d been active or stressed.

My little boy is now a big chunky happy 6month old but the sch was terrifying and I really feel for you - rest it out, eat well, drink lots of water and watch for anaemia. Good luck x

I'm 15+5, had a subchronic hemorrhage when I was 13 weeks.

Was so traumatic, midwife traige told me to go to a&e, after testing ect they put it down as a threatened miscarriage and I had to go for an emergency scan the following morning.

Baby was fine but they still saw some bleeding on the scan.

No more episodes since so I'm hoping this was a one off and the rest of this pregnancy will run smoothly, as I hope yours does too! Best of luck!

I had quite a lot of cramping during bleeding and clotting and after aswell!

Have you had a scan op?

Hi guys updating as I hate threads left! I went for my dating scan and all gone and has been going smoothly ever since 😊 I’m 15+3 now and have an early gender scan Wednesday!

like a poster on here, I bled so much like my whole insides where coming out so much so the ambulance had to pull over on the way to the hospital as I was going into shock! It doesn’t always mean bad news as I am fine and so far so good! Xx

Hey, I am just reading these and it's giving me some hope. I went in for a scan last week they said I have a sac and two yolks and looks healthy but a SCH next to it. The midwife didn't seem to worry she said it's not near the babies so not to worry and to expect bledding and cramping. I have had more cramping than bleeding but my worry is that I only have 270 HCG levels at 6 weeks with twins and no pregnancy symptoms like sickness or sore boobs I have just constipated and headaces and itchy nipples. I have to wait until next Friday for another scan. They suspect I am having a misscarriage but can't tell me 100% until next week. Has anyone else had low pregnancy symptoms? Mine were intense for the first 4 weeks then suddenly my boobs stoped hurting. I was extremely tired which I'm not so much anymore and I haven't actually had any sickness yet.

Didn't want to just read and run. I did get strengthening pregnancy symptoms but then I got quite bad hg so maybe you'll be luckier than I was in terms of the sickness, everyone is different so i wouldn't panic. All you can really do is take it one day at a time until you get more clarification from your next scan. It's really hard waiting, make sure you have good support around you and your other half because you might find you aren't talking to each other about it so as not to upset the other.

Thank you. It's so hard waiting I started to lose symptoms around 10 days ago so it's making me think the worst tbh along with low HCG. I just am not passing any heavy bledding. I think I likely am having a misscarriage just holding on to some hope ☹️
