Well fingers crossed I am. I'll be 10 weeks tomorrow and the sickness has been horrific. How are you guys feeling? Any advice to make it go faster? I'm taking each day as it comes with blood sweat tears well more like nausea vomiting and constipation 😂

I’m 34 weeks pregnant with my second and husband tells me our last as we can’t afford anymore or have anymore space 😂

I’m very tired and achy now and ready to meet her but the longer she stays cooking the better.
It feels like it goes on forever but I’m sure the time will fly for you! I found having a toddler has made this pregnancy fly as I haven’t had chance to read loads on the internet or just binge TV shows. Try and keep yourself busy if you feel up to it.

Hope you feel better soon

blueberry23 · 10/12/2022 12:47

Yes I'm 13 weeks with #2 and my DH doesn't want any more (I probably would have a third if it were up to me!)

Trying to savour the pregnancy as this will be the last time I do this which makes me quite sad in a way.

Heard the HB on a Doppler for the first time today which was so lovely .

Hope everyone is doing well!

Fedupmum21 · 10/12/2022 13:22

I’m 31+3 with my third, had my second at 28+6 last year due to severe pre eclampsia. I’m currently sat in a hospital bed having been admitted last night with blood pressure issues. This is 1,000,000% my last and all I feel is relief!

Dinosaurpoopy · 11/12/2022 11:07

Yes I'm 20 weeks tomorrow and so done already! Baby boy needs to stay in nice and safe until he's ready but I am done. We're on the younger side (I'm 25) so have agreed the coil for 5 years and then DH can get the snip. But right now I'm 100% sure no more babies

MyEasterEggs · 11/12/2022 11:11

Yes. I’ve had multiple losses between my firstborn and this baby and I’m ready to put my thirties and 8 years of pregnancies and fertility struggles behind me. Trying to cherish this time as much as possible knowing I’m unlikely to have another baby!

heartbroken22 · 12/12/2022 00:26

@burnout1993 aww thank you. It's just the growing pains and nausea getting to me. Even though DH has said no would you like more?

@blueberry23 that's good to hear. I'm not trying to savour this pregnancy....I hate being pregnant it feels like a disability sometimes...just puked everything I ate...but oh well 😂

@Fedupmum21 aww I hear you and I hope you feel better soon. How did it go? Did they ask you to take aspirin in this pregnancy? I have to take it twice a day from 12 weeks. You're really brave to have another so soon. I have a one year old and I know how hard it is.

@Dinosaurpoopy yeah totally understandable. I'm just worried the coil might fail me so not sure what to do. What made you decide? We used the Durex extra safe extra thick condoms after dd1 was born and had no accidents for 3 years until we started trying for dd2. I've told my DH he needs to buy them regardless of how expensive they are 😂 but I think I will have a coil put in.

@MyEasterEggs yeah I've been there and losses can really put a strain on your mind and body hence why I'm not so keen on being pregnant this time and hopefully it will be my last. I'd be happy to have lots if a stork delivered them on my doorstep. But honestly pregnancy is not easy. I think girls need to be made aware of it from school aswell as boys.

Mainly that I hate pregnancy 😂 and we have a 3 bed house! We could afford to move but we're currently overpaying the mortgage so it'll be done in 10 years and we'd much prefer that situation. If the coil did fail then it is what it is, but DH will be booked for a snip that afternoon hahha

Algor1thm · 12/12/2022 18:31

16 weeks pregnant with my second and last. I would have loved three but I've suffered with hyperemesis in both of my pregnancies and I've hated every minute of both so far. I know I can't ever do this again. I feel sad about it as I feel like it's a decision that's been taken out of my hands, but I feel very happy at the thought of never having to go through this hell again.

gjkufbb · 12/12/2022 18:37

I'm 12 weeks with my 3rd pregnancy but second baby. I'm never going through it again. The nausea has been absolutely debilitating and I've cried most days.

My first pregnancy was a breeze in comparison. Not sure if it was because I was 7 years younger or what. But never again

Dinosaurdrip · 12/12/2022 19:59

I'm 33 weeks with no4, and s/he will definitely be our last. Mainly because I'm 42 and our 3rd was meant to be our last 10 years ago!!!
Feeling so very tired this time around and even though I actually love being pregnant I really can't wait to meet them and not feel so exhausted! Yes I know I'll be exhausted once s/he is here but it's a different kind of exhaustion that DH can be a part of!! 😆

GreenLadybug · 12/12/2022 20:07

I've got a scan on Thursday as dates unknown - I'm either 8, 12 or 16 weeks pregnant 😬🙄🙈 I think about 12. Husband booked on for the snip 🤣

heartbroken22 · 12/12/2022 22:46

@GreenLadybug lol that must be exciting trying to figure out how far you are! Do you have any other children?

OP posts:
heartbroken22 · 12/12/2022 22:47

@Dinosaurdrip congratulations. I wish I had the balls to have a child in my fourties' but the hypermesis had knocked me out cold. How do your other children feel?

OP posts:
heartbroken22 · 12/12/2022 22:49

@gjkufbb I'm so sorry you feel like that. I feel exactly like that too. Have you tried medication? All my pregnancies have been like this...I've had 4 so far like this... not sure why I'm punishing myself having another...but I know I will love my baby when they do arrive.

OP posts:
heartbroken22 · 12/12/2022 22:51

@Algor1thm totally get you as I have hypermesis too. How many would you have liked if you never had it? It truly is awful and I'm not sure why more and more women are suffering from it. Charlotte Brontë had it and died from it. It's so sad.

OP posts:
heartbroken22 · 12/12/2022 22:53

@Dinosaurpoopy Lool I just need to convince my hubby to get the snip!

I've not tried any medication. I wasn't really aware there was any! It's awful isn't it. I'm so moody to my poor dh because I'm always just feeling so rotten

Definitely get on medication - there are so many different ones you can try!
