Hello im 5w4d pregnant normally im 8 weeks for my last period but its very irregular normally every 40-45 days doctor said i can see sac and yolk sac but i cant see baby yet we have two options first one is come 10 days later we’ll see baby’s heartbeat or second one is you miscarriage. I don’t have any bleeding or pain what do you think? Should I worry😢

Feels like there's a bit missing from your post. Why would you be worrying? Have you had pain or bleeding?

You can't normally see baby at 5w +4d, I don't think?

Hi OP. Did you have the scan for reassurance?

It is still very, very early to see much. Honestly, I would expect there to be a heartbeat at your next scan, as you haven't had any bleeding.

Ah hang on - you were expecting to be eight weeks pregnant?

But you've said that your cycles can be very long, so you may very well not be eight weeks pregnant yet.

I still think it'll be okay.

I think if your cycle is long then your dates are off as you've probably ovulated later, so 5w4d sounds about about right. Luteal phase is going to be around 12-16 days, so take that away from your cycle length to work out likely ovulation if you didn't chart it.

For example, I ovulated CD25 (my cycles currently are 33-39 days long) and early pregnancy unit want to scan me at 8 weeks from start of last menstrual period. If things progress I'll only be 6w3d when they have booked my scan at the end of December. So I calculate gestationally by taking my ovulation date as equating to 2 weeks and then add on from there.

I thought maybe I'll see it based on my last period . Unfortunately I forgot when I booked scan my period is very irregular and maybe it's late implantation and then o worried 😟 I know it's early see baby sometime 5weeks4 days but i feel sad .. next appointment is next Saturday 6week6day hopefully i will see my little baby 🙏

Yes just I wanted to confirm pregnancy my next scan next Saturday 6weeks 6 days hopefully i will see 😟🙏

I don't have any bleach spotting or any pain 🙏

Yes probably I ovulating around my 20.cycle day
