Hey ladies, just wondering if you had a first response pick up your pregnancy before a clear blue (ordinary not digital)

I had an early miscarriage last month but got my first very faint positive on a first response on 11dpo , Today I think I'm also 11dpo but used a clear blue and it's stark white. But I've been having symptoms. Can anyone offer any advice?

@Irishwifey was it the clearblue early one? Xx

gemloving · 08/12/2022 09:26

Hello. It doesn't necessarily mean anything. Mine only show 14 days after ovulation and I have two crazy little things running around). I would try again in 3 days time xx

gemloving · 08/12/2022 09:26

I'm sorry for your loss 😞

It was one out of the triple check box. There's a digital and two ordinary ones. I don't think it was the early one I think it just says on the box check 6 days early but they all say that don't they. I think the clear blue early is different (I think) I was googling about hcg levels and couldn't find anything !

@gemloving thank you so much for acknowledging. We were heartbroken but decided to just throw ourselves back into it. But I think it's driven me extra crazy and I just cannot relax or rationalise with myself 😭

@Irishwifey I do believe this is very normal even if you haven't had such sad news. A lot of women get white obsessive over it all and it's very very tough to manage.

ChloeN · 08/12/2022 10:51

@Irishwifey is it the one with you one line rather than a cross? I’ll look back on my tests and see which showed up first, I’ve taken loads 🤣🤣

ChloeN · 08/12/2022 10:51

@Irishwifey thats meant to say just one line 🤦🏻‍♀️

Yes!! The one with the line and not the cross.

Girls I've looked at the same test and it's been a few hours and there's now a line.

What????

It's very very faint but it's there.

My luteal phase is 12 days and I waited until 14dpo (I know when I ovulated as I took my bbt every morning) to use a FRER (got a bfp). I wouldn’t test until you’re at least a day late.

PinkPink1 · 08/12/2022 11:44

And read the test within 5 mins. You could get an evap line if you wait too long to look at it.

scrambledeggy · 08/12/2022 12:03

My clearblue looked like this two days before I got a First Response Early Result, which by then showed a very clear line. I am still pregnant now and all going well, but have miscarried before so I can imagine how worried you feel. As my cycles are irregular I never knew when to test, so no guidance on DPO, but yes it may be worth getting a FRER tomorrow and seeing. Good luck!

Thank you so much for your reply. Did it show up a few hours later like my one. Cos it wasn't within the time frame and it was blindingly white when I left it earlier.

I'm holding onto hope ❤️

I'm pretty sure from my googling I found out that clearblue early response picks up 25hg or whatever the unit is for their "weeks" indicator, 10hg for their 6 days early and first response picks up 6hg for theirs... so FR is the best/ most sensitive.

Sorry re chemical too. I had one last month too and was heartbroken. The above was sadly tested also as I got "not pregnant" earliest after the chemical on clear blue where I still had a faint line on FR so it was obviously still in my system slightly :(

Rowen32 · 08/12/2022 13:26

I'm sorry for your loss. I wouldn't read anything into the line showing up, they say not to check after a certain amount of time because that can happen with the ink...

ChloeN · 08/12/2022 13:49

@Irishwifey have you got any easy@home tests? They picked it up really early for me! I only used the normal clear blue at 10dpo not the early one and it did have a faint line xx
