Can anyone advise me on safe retinol free skin care and make up to use during pregnancy.
I’ve heard and read that products with retinol in aren’t the safest during pregnancy.

TIA

I've always liked Lavera and Weleda products (both German brands, I think).

Lavera does a sensitive range.

I avoided retinol and salicylic acid when I was pregnant. (Although I think a midwife laughed at me for the salicylic acid. Blush)

Yeah, apparently it's in such small amounts that it won't harm you or baby.

I just stopped using retinol, rest of my skincare is the same. I use azelaic acid serum from Face Theory though, as I struggle with acne (first trimester hormones).

Same as others - stopped my retinoids, using all others

I'm interested In this too. Can anyone recommend any specific brands? I was thinking of getting the Elemis cleanser & moisturiser but unsure if it's safe.

Great question!
I was looking at the Edelweiss range at the body shop but I’m unsure too.
Its all very confusing isn’t it.
