Worried sick about pre term labour

Will try keep this short 😂 I'm 26 weeks today and on Sunday I was contracting every 2 minutes. Cervix remained closed. I was allowed home the next morning to monitor things. Yesterday I'm pretty sure I lost my music plug. Worried sick my boy is telling me he wants to come. Anyone any thoughts or reassurance? xx

No real words of advice, but didn’t want to read and run. How are you feeling now @Stephanie226?

FWIW I didn’t have contractions, but lost a large portion of my mucus plug at 24wks, hospital confirmed cervix was closed and posterior facing and reassured me that the mucus plug continues to regenerate throughout pregnancy. I’m now 35wks and baby is still baking away.

Thanks for replying. If I hadn't been in with the contractions then I wouldn't even give it a second thought but I'm feeling quite stressed and feel like I'm just waiting on something else happening. Hoping baby boy is just playing games with me and being a torag already 🤞🏼 and hangs on to full term x

Fingers firmly crossed 🤞🏻if you’re worried can you call your midwife/MAU and see if it’s worth having another check just in case? x
