Currently pregnant 31 weeks. Partner and I have had our problems but since being pregnant we've worked on the relationship to make it better. He can't trust me (I've never gave him a reason not to) and tbh it's just tiring me out now and making me wanna leave him. He always questions what I'm doing while he's at work like I'm doing something sneaky or sly and it's just making me want to leave him now I can't be bothered to stay in a relationship where he can't trust me. I told him he needs to work on trusting or we can't be together as I don't want to be bringing a child up in an environment where we argue about the stuff he thinks. What do you think I should do? I've been like this also but I've worked on it since getting pregnant do u think I should stay with him or just get rid

I was in an abusive relationship, my ex husband was controlling amongst a load of other things....

What you've said is a worry to me, I fear he will only get worse after you've had the baby and, speaking from my own experience, when someone constantly accuses their partner of cheating it very often is projection.

Get your ducks in a row, if they aren't already, so whatever decision you make is easier.

I have passwords to his phone and do check it occasionally and never found nothing so I don't think he is cheating as he's either always at work or he's with me, so I don't think that's the reason but I just don't get it. It's worse when I'm with a certain friend I don't know if it's because he don't trust her. Then he takes it out on me? I really don't understand because I don't do anything to even make him think things and it's just confusing me. It's draining having to keep reassuring someone. What did you do? Did you leave? What made you leave if you did?

Neither of you trusts each other. He’s constantly questioning you and you’re checking his phone. So unless you’re both up for therapy and working it through I can’t see that it’s the best environment for raising a child. He sounds very insecure and I wonder how his behaviour might change after the baby. Those early days with a newborn are exhausting and you already seem exhausted by him.

I’d also suggest moving this to relationships if you want a bit more support. You might get more of a response over there.
