Hi everyone, bit of an embarrassing one...

My 4 year old caught threadworm end of August, I treated her with a dose of mebendazole which seemed to clear it. However I then started with it a few weeks later. I can't be treated as I'm pregnant. Since then she has has it two more time, I've just treated her last night for the 3rd time in 3 months. I'm presuming she is catching it back from me :( and I've had to give the medication on 2 more occasions which is worrying me. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this during pregnancy or taken the medication? I don't want to take it, but I'm also worried about my daughter catching it repeatedly and having to keep taking the medication and any affect that could have on her. It really bothers her when she has the worms, it affects her sleep and she gets very upset so I've had to no choice but to give her the medication to help her. I've just given it to her last night and I'm starting (again) a 6 week regime of strict hygiene and washing everything at 60 degrees - can anyone give me some hope this will work this time? x
