Hey guys.

I have just found out I am currently 5 weeks pregnant. As you can imagine being my first one, I was in a state of shock, but I am elated at the same time. I had never had a pregnancy scare and come to the conclusion that I may not ever be a mum. I am just constantly paranoid at every little twinge and lack of symptoms. Don't get me wrong my boobs have been tender but more so than other days also my hormones have been playing up.

Any advice please? It will be greatly appreciated.

@Diva646 please don’t stress.
I’ve had the smallest amount of symptoms (boobs grew, need to wee more and a bit of tiredness) other than that nothing and I had a scan last week (11+1) and so far so good!

Diva646 - I started a thread yesterday about my 'Wife's anxiety', got some really good feedback there and ran through it with her, was fantastic. I think what she needed to understand was that worrying firstly doesn't make you a lunatic, it's perfectly natural but also it's very, very... very common.

If you have any specific worries probably best to mention them to others (on here or elsewhere), specifically, to help you understand and rationalise them to alleviate your anxiety but also do seek out help wherever possible.

@Diva646 I got twinges for a few weeks mainly at night (felt like period pain) but went away after about 8/9 weeks.
I get some round pain now but very very infrequently.
