Worried about how son will react to new baby

I'm due to have a baby in a couple of weeks, and am worried about how my 2 year old son is going to react.

He is such a mummy's boy, and gets very jealous if I ever hold another baby and will tend to try and push it away and cuddle me.

Obviously throughout my pregnant we have spoken to him about a new baby, however he just replies with 'no baby'. He just turned 2 in September so is still very little and I'm not sure he really understands, but I'm just so worried about him feeling jealous and left out.

Any advice?

DS1 was 2yr2m when DS2 was born.

We spoke about it being his baby - would he help mummy with his baby? Would he like a cuddle with his baby? And so on.

We also found it helped that he started nursery around six mo this before baby arrived - he had his own routine, wasn't pushed out by the baby coming into the family, and meant I had a few hours a couple of times a week to focus just on DS2.

Good luck, but kids are more adaptable than we think.
