No bras available in my size

I already had a large bra size, about 38HH, before pregnancy. During the pregnancy they have grown to beyond 38L (uk size) and I can’t find anywhere that does any bigger cup sizes with a 38 back size.

Has anyone experienced this, and do you have any tips? I’ve tried bravissimo and they were wonderfully kind however they do not have anything that fits. I purchased one the back size up, however it’s not a good fit. I’ve also tried Molke, but again have had to go up a band size which makes them less supportive (and still a little small on the cup).

Ideally I’m looking for nursing bras. I’m also a little worried that wearing bras that dig in could cause issues when breastfeeding?

Hopefully after a while they will reduce again, but any advice welcome!

Have you tried Simply Be? They have that size although not sure on nursing ones

Are you a 38 back in bravissimo sizing?

Yes it’s a 38 back in bravissimo sizing!

Thank you! I’ll have a look at the simply be ones. The problem is I think I’m more like a 38LL/M but those sizes don’t seem to exist!

Have you tried Royce? I got a couple from there that were very comfy.

Or Hot Milk. They do larger sizes x

Go to an independent bra shop. Bravissimo sizing is way off for me, and I've never been successful finding something that fits me in there if I go by their size!

Thank you for all the suggestions - I know it’s been a while but thought I would update the thread in case anyone in the same boat stumbles upon it.

I ended up living in molke bras as they are very soft and forgiving in size, but because I have to size up on the back band they offer very minimal support. I’ve taken the suggestion to go to a local specialist independent store, which was really useful, and provided more supportive alternatives. However the bra size I would ideally need definitely doesn’t exist as the cup size is too big for my back size (the back size would ideally be 34/36 but 38KK/L still doesn’t offer enough cup space) so the support comes at the compromise of more compressed breasts.

I’ve found some things that are okay eventually, and am going to try adapting a regular bra which fits a bit better to be a nursing bra, but I’d be really interested to hear from anyone else who’s had this problem and what solutions they found. I’ve found this to be an unexpected but really disheartening part of pregnancy, which has impacted me physically and mentally. I also struggled with mastitis and not being able to find a supportive well fitted bra probably hasn’t helped.

Im really hoping they shrink down again once I’ve finished breastfeeding.

It would be expensive because the shipping is $45, but http://www.biggerbras.com do 38 band and up to O cup.

Ahh wait, it might be different sizing in the US. I found another site that said N cup (K cup in UK) ☹️

How about https://www.optifitbra.com/fitting/ - they send you a measuring kit then they send out the right bra. They claim to do up to PP cup.
