Hi, wondering if anyone can help? I had a scan and the above ‘Mildly dilated lateral ventricle with fluid collection’ has been found but as it was a 4d private scan they were unable to diagnose anything, we saw the number 0.83cm which transfers to 8.3mm (whether this is linked to the dilation/fluid we aren’t 100% sure). They didn’t tell me anything about it either, I’ve googled it and looked into it a bit and just panicking. The hospital have phoned and asked me to go in for a scan as the 4d clinic sent a referral, which is a relief so we can find out what’s going on but was wondering if anyone has had this or a similar situation and what happened?
she also mentioned the kidneys looked ‘’full’’ but when I asked her what that meant she didn’t answer me, so there also that if anyone knows anything about this?
nothing was picked up at the 20w scan or mentioned to me if it was so it’s even more of a concern to us that this has all developed in the last 8 weeks…
would really appreciate hearing anyone else’s experience with this good or bad, thank youuu.
