Estimated 5 weeks pregnant today (found out at 3 week, 5 days).

Last Mon-Thurs I woke up around 5.40-5.45am full of beans, wide awake, ready to get up (this was good as half hour before my alarm).

Sat, Sun and today, Mon - I've woke up bang on 3am!!! Awake... Sunday got myself back to sleep until about 8.30am but today, I only got back to sleep until 4am, so I've been up since 4am doing housework bits then started work at 8.30am (wfh today). I DON'T FEEL TIRED.

WHAT IS GOING ON, I'm usually ALWAYS tired - how on earth have I got energy from this little poppy/orange pip seed forming inside of me 😮

I can't seem to find anything on line about this.. many saying waking up early but then crashing early in the day/eve. That's not happening to me... I'm got more energy than normal!!

@DD0923 i was the same the first week that I found out, (9dpo so really early) I wasn’t tired at all but was waking up way earlier than usual and couldn’t get back to sleep! I’m 5.5 weeks now and it’s literally changed overnight, now I can hardly wake up and by 5pm I’m yawning my head off

I was the same in the first week I found out (at 4+3), awake at 4.30 every morning and couldn't get back to sleep. It soon settled down.

The crash pending 😆 well this morn I woke at 3.05am again, managed to go back to sleep until 6.20, 10 mins before this mornings alarm. I can’t complain at all, I’m just a bit shocked 😂

Oh yes, pregnancy insomnia. I hope it stops soon (mine didn't)

I best make the most of this energy burst I’m having then quick before the tiredness strikes hard 🤦🏼‍♀️😆
