31 weeks predicted babies weight

I had a extra scan a few weeks ago when I was 31 weeks 1 day as I was measuring big the scan said baby was weighing at 3lb 9oz was told she was on the small size are a bit confused as everywhere I have read average babies weight at 31 weeks is 1.5kg so my weight is bigger scan lady said my baby wouldn’t be very big smaller then my others who were 8lb 1oz 8lb 2oz and my last was 8lb 4oz they have all gone up just a little so surprised this one is smaller

I wouldn't worry, in my experience they've always predicted wrong! I was told mine was going to be a big baby, he was then born at 33 weeks and was 4lbs 4oz !

I’m nearly 33 weeks have another scan on the 19th I’ll be 35 weeks that week my belly has drop so much it’s between my legs just worried if she’s early she will be so so small 12 year gap between my last baby and this one I just over think everything

I've had 5 babies and the predicted weight was wrong for all of them!

Easy for me to say but try not to stress ! Unfortunately you can't decide when they make an appearance (as I learnt!) but mine is 9 weeks now and nearly 9lbs. He was in NICU for 2 weeks and they were fabulous. I hope everything goes well for you and I'm sure it will - but they can do amazing things with tiny babies.
