Am I even ovulating?

Hi,
can someone please give me some advice/opinions?! I’ve attached my FF temp chart - can anyone tell me if it even seems like I’ve ovulated as I’m so confused.
I’ve had 3 early miscarriages in the last year. All initial NHS tests have come back fine except the specialist said from the scan I may have low progesterone.
He’s prescribed me Cyclogest from BFP but I don’t even know if I’m ovulating.
I’m so lost and would appreciate any opinions x

Am I even ovulating?

Hi OP.

I'm sorry for your losses. If you are having early miscarriages then clearly you are ovulating at least some of the time otherwise you wouldn't be getting pregnant.

It looks like you got a positive ovulation test and then a temperature jump on day 11 of your cycle in this chart. But your temperatures are all over the place so your chart is hard to read.

Your temperature can be affected by alcohol, illness, night wakings, taking your temperature at different times of day, even sleeping with your mouth open. Try taking your temperature vaginally instead of orally and see if that makes your temperatures more consistent.

Have you been referred for recurrent miscarriage testing after your third loss?

@babyjellyfish thank you for replying. I do sleep with my mouth open so will try the other way next cycle, thank you.
ive seen a recurrent specialist because of the number of miscarriages (1 before DD and 3 since). All of my blood tests came back normal and he said it’s most likely just bad luck. (Such a conflicting feeling, you want to hear there’s nothing but at the same time it’s so hard hearing bad luck!)
he thought from an internal scan I may have low progesterone levels so prescribed Cyclogest from BFP. Sadly the last loss I used it and still miscarried. But I’m worried my progesterone is so low and that’s why my temperature isn’t rising.
I asked if I could see the fertility clinic as I’ve been trying for over a year but they said the clock restarts everytime you have a loss, so I have to have had no losses for a year before I’ll be seen. Heartbreaking, I feel so desperate for help.

I wouldn't be waiting for a bfp to start progesterone since it's important to have decent levels in the extremely early stages. I was always instructed to start it 2 days after ovulation by the gynaecologist, to ensure a good level to support the implanting egg/embryo.

@Regenbogen22 thanks for your comment. That’s what I’m thinking, if my progesterone levels are so low then it feels like from a BFP it’s probably too late.
out of interest, on a cycle that wasn’t successful, at what point did you stop taking it?

@KG416 the first cycle taking it was successful!

Regenbogen22 · 06/12/2022 01:08

Sorry, that didn't exactly answer the question. I was told to take a sensitive test at 12dpo and if that was negative, to stop taking the progesterone and allow a period to start.
