Flu jab after covid

Im in third trimester and had covid last month, asked midwife if was safe to have flu jab after being positive so recently to be told she 'thinks' its ok. Anyone else had this situation? Thanks

I had them at the same time (not in pregnancy) and there was no effect whatsoever. I can't really see why two unrelated vaccines shouldn't be close together.

It’s fine to have the flu vaccine that long after having Covid.

Sorry maybe i didnt word that very well! Lol i had covid (Not covid jab) 2 weeks ago and went to book my flu jab but thought id mention it to midwife before i booked. She didnt seem very convincing with her answer so just thought id see if anyone else had been in same situation. Didnt know if anyone had been given different advice as to wait a few weeks before having it done.

No, it’s fine, the only one you need to wait for after having covid is the shingle’s vaccination as it’s a live vaccine but you only get that starting age 70.

Looking to use glass bottles with newborn, can anyone recommend a good brand they have used? Wanted Dr Browns but can not find them in stock anywhere!
