Is this a positive!

Hi, I’m new here! I had a confirmed very early pregnancy loss just over 3 weeks ago. I have 5 days left before next period arrives and have what looks like 2 positive tests! I’ve been reading up on First Response giving false positives. What do you all think 🙏

I can see lines there OP. I do have to ask, did you get a negative test after your loss?

They are positive but my initial thought is that the pregnancy hormone is still in your body from your recent loss.

I thought it took around 6 weeks for the pregnancy hormone to go?

They look positive to me! Sorry to ask, but did you get negative tests after your loss?

My HSG was 9 on 12th November, I had negatives on a boots own that same day? Do you think it would still show as positive 3 weeks later? I have no symptoms usual pms cramps which I had when I had loss! So confused 😕

Be aware the first period after a miscarriage may not come on time

@LauA123 I’d try the same brand as you used before and got negative on just in case, if it’s positive on there then all good☺️

I'd do this, too! Not sure how sensitive frer but over 5 can be considered positive (most hospitals stop testing when you get under 10, though) just in case. I've had RPOC, and they got nowhere near 10, though.

I didn’t even think it could be this? I thought I had passed everything I was only very early. My first HSG was 13 followed by 9 after 48 hours. What we’re your symptoms? I will get the brand I got a negative with first thing in the morning! Thank you ☺️

@LauA123 my tests weren’t completely negative until after my period but I was nearly 9 weeks before I started bleeding so my levels would of been really high! I think it does sound quite unlikely to be the previous pregnancy for you since your levels were so low!

Ahh I’m sorry to hear this. I think if they was from previous maybe the lines would be much fainter? I have two children and have never found out so early on so it’s all new to me. I think it’s just going to be a wait and see game!

@LauA123 thanks lovely, I’m pregnant again now so that makes it a bit easier☺️ the bottom one looks slightly darker too did you do them at different times?

Congratulations, how far along are you now 💗💙 Top was about 7 last night and bottom was first thing this morning! I was in complete shock as wasn’t expecting a positive ( if it is ) so soon. Would you even get symptoms so early on if it is positive, I feel like I knew something was wrong last time same feeling I have now.

@LauA123 just over 5 weeks so still really early for me too! I tested positive on 9dpo and I had sore boobs and some cramps, that’s one of the reasons I tested!

I was nearly 11 weeks when I found out with my daughter 11 years ago and honestly it was so much easier haha this constant worry is torture isn’t it! Sore boobs is my biggest PMS symptom but nothing except lower stomach pains. I do feel quite run down, break outs mouth ulcers etc.

Morning Girls, so just got another test a Superdrug early one, I don’t no if it’s my eyes playing tricks but what do you all think of this?

No 🙈 that wasn’t first morning wee either, there’s another test will do that first thing see if any change x

Tbh, speak with your gp and they should be able to arrange blood tests and repeat in 48 hours.

I was still getting positive tests 8 weeks after my miscarriage which was so disheartening.

The blood tests are going to confirm it one way or the other.

Todays test! Will give it a few more days until I ring Doctors. Still no symptoms which I think is abit strange.

That test looks stronger than the one from yesterday so does look like a new pregnancy ❤️ gentle congratulations

When I got pregnant after losing our baby, albeit was 8 months later, I had no symptoms at all like sore boobs etc that I'd had the time before. Soon kicked in after a few weeks though! Got my fingers crossed for you x
