Anterior partially covering placenta at 21w

Evening all

My anatomy scan showed my placenta is anterior and covering the cervix, although only the end of it (if that makes sense). If you had this did it move? I don’t mind a CS at all but have had a VB so was hoping to keep the childbirth damage to one place! 😬

I read online that anterior placentas are more likely to move, is this true?

Any knowledge/experiences welcome.

thanks x

Oh and I’ve also had some sharp lightening-like pains in the location where the placenta is at the front - no bleeding or tightenings so I’m not too worried but is this pain the placenta stretching up?

Hi hun,

From what I remember they said my placenta was partially covering cervix then towards the last few scans they said it had moved so I wouldn't worry too much, keep active is my best advice, it helps with a lot xx
