cholestasis of pregnancy?

My stomach has been very itchy for 4 days. Throughout the past 2 days it seems to have also spread to my face, legs, arms, scalp etc. Not constant but it's there enough to notice.

Could this be a general pregnancy thing or ICP? My sister had ICP but it was specifically on her hands and feet.

Also posted in the general health section.

Thanks

You need to call your midwife and they can get bloods done to check. It won't cause them any hassle to do it and would stop you worrying x

Also it could just be general pregnancy thing - I was really itchy like this especially on hands and feet so they checked my bloods and I was all fine, just itchy! They said it can just be to do with the hormones sometimes.
But please get it checked

The itchiness of cholestasis feels like it's under your skin not on top.
I got it particularly badly in hands and feet.
Don't stress- the bloods will reveal it and if you have it then you'll be put on medication, frequent monitoring and moved to consultant led care.

It could well be that. Hormones make your skin extra sensitive during pregnancy. I was always so itchy!
Try not to worry too much & you're doing the right thing by getting bloods done
