Heart palpitations

Hi!
I'm too early to test yet but I'm having heart palpitations amongst other symptoms.
I've read that this could be due to higher blood flow if I was to be pregnant.
Just wondering has anyone else suffered with palpitations really early in pregnancy.
I'm wondering if it's just excitement of the possibility of conceiving.

I do suffer with anxiety and I take beta blockers which means theoretically my heart rate should be lower from those.
Thanks

Hi I just came across your message - a bit late! But I'm experiencing the same thing... I think I could be pregnant because I've also had heightened sense of smell, slightly tender boobs, but still a few days too early to test. My heart has been fluttering almost all the time for the past few days, a bit concerned if it's not pregnancy related as it could be something to worry about! Did you ever find the cause of your palpitations?

@Nicolicolala heart palpitations are very common, they can be caused by things like dehydration and anxiety and are usually not anything to be concerned about. They can occur more often in pregnancy due to the extra blood flow but that doesn’t occur right away so it is not a sign of early pregnancy. If hcg is high enough to cause symptoms then it’s high enough to show on a test.

Pregnancy does put more pressure on your heart. I have a heart condition which I don't usually notice often but during all three of my pregnancies I noticed it all the time.

I was told its very common to experience palpations during pregnancy
