Has anyone ever been a lot further along than the 2-3 weeks clearblue said?

So basically I am 7 weeks but huuuugely bloated. People I speak to that know think I look about 12-15 weeks pregnant. I went to the docs about nausea this morning and he spoke to me about dates and speculated that I could be further along than I think. I don't think this is the case, I took a test at 4 weeks after last period and it was negative and then got a positive (2-3 weeks on clueblue which is what I would have expected) at nearly 5 weeks (was on 35 day cycles then).

Have people ever had a similar experience but had been further along despite having a bleed and a test that indicated an early pregnancy? I'm doubtful but thought I'd ask!

To throw a spanner in the works my clearblue didn’t change to 3+ (so 5 weeks preggo) until I was just over 7 weeks! I knew when I ovulated too… they’re crap to be honest. A friend also had a full period and didn’t realise she was pregnant until 2 weeks after she had a”period”.

I mean some people do just bloat but it is possible. If it occurred in my part of the U.K. we would be offered an earlier scan, you could see if this is an option with the NHS.

I have an early scan booked for next Saturday. Weary of going earlier in case my dates are right / I ovulated later and I'm actually closer to 6 weeks or less. But then this doctor thinks (or made a throw away comment) that I could be more pregnant which has my head in overdrive!

It's very much a mystery IMO.
I was massively bloated with both pregnancies, so had a 'bump' way before I should have.
I think you have two choices: carry on and wait for scheduled scans, or go private.
Either way you will eventually find out.
Good luck, whatever you choose OP.

I reckon you're just v bloated esp if you have been pregnant before. I looked as pregnant at 8 weeks as I do now at 16. Bloat went down by 10wks and now actual bump is on its way up.

I went for 12 week scan naturally thinking I was 12 weeks. Turned out I was 16 weeks and baby had snuck in a whole month earlier without me realising! The implantation bleeding was an incredibly convincing period so I hadn't thought to take a test.

Hi! First of all congratulations, I’m 6+5 and I am so bloated that I even say to my OH I think this is my bump at 6 weeks and he keeps reassuring
me that I won’t have a bump on my first pregnancy at 6+5.

ive seen a comment on this thread that says it all goes down by 10 week, im really hoping this bloating goes down. My worst nightmare is thinking I’m further along than what I am and not being prepared!

I’d imagine your wee might be more diluted so it’s probably not unheard of.
