Has anyone experienced not feeling much movement with baby head down facing in at the spine?

movement on scans but can’t feel - third trimester

Have you ever been able to feel movements? I think it's more about placental position than fetal position when it comes to feeling them. My second pregnancy I can feel movements more than my first but I think my first time the placenta was anterior (hope I have that the right way round). If movements have reduced then call your hospital

Yeah I have been they were constant - I’ve been seen today baby moving on scan but I couldn’t feel it…

I'm 38 weeks and she's in the same position as yours but I can still feel her moving, hiccuping and stretching. Maybe have a chat with your midwife as understandably it's a bit disconcerting for you

I can feel the odd bum wiggle or hiccup but nothing like I’m used too.. I’ve spoken to her she’s unsure as of why they said if I get anymore than just to call triage but I’m concerned on why this keeps happening if everything there end is ‘ok.’

Please always, always get movements checked if you've noticed any difference. Believe me, they would rather see you every day until the end of your pregnancy and you leave with a healthy baby than risk anything horrible happening 💖

Is the placenta at the front? If so that can cushion the movements but get it checked.

No posterior that’s why they’re unsure on why I cannot feel them - I have been seen and had a scan but still unsure as of why I can’t feel the movements anymore so I’m just sat pondering

I don't really feel my baby move during the day but do feel him after dinner at night. Went for a scan for the other day as I was worried and could see him moving on scan at hospital but couldn't feel it. I was wondering if it was maybe to do with how much food I'd had.

Yeah I’m the same, although I could feel baby everyday sometimes I was like baby is having a party in there but recently it’s been up and down. Had a scan and apparently baby was wiggling but they were surprised I couldn’t feel it, which makes me wonder what’s changed and especially as I’ve not got long left I should be able to feel more but I’m just not? They don’t seem concerned but for me I’m just say here now waiting for a movement, the food I’m eating hasn’t really changed so I’m just not sure I just hope baby is okay in there
