This is my 4th pregnancy, my first two pregnancies were healthy babies - I suffered from HG terribly with both from around 5 weeks.

I fell pregnant again - I had no symptoms at all but then I miscarried at around 7 weeks.

I am pregnant again, no symptoms at all, I was scanned at 6w3d and everything looked perfect, but I can’t help but worry this pregnancy will also end in miscarriage due to lack of symptoms I’m experiencing.

I know this probably sounds absolutely ridiculous as obviously I don’t want to be unwell, but at least it’s a pregnancy symptom 🫣

has anyone else suffered from HG and then had a non HG pregnancy?

I had hg with 3 pregnancies. 2 of them resulted in my 2 girls and one I had to have a termination ( as the hg was life threatening). I also had a miscarriage at 6 weeks with no nausea symptoms. I'm pregnant again and have had some nausea staring at 7 weeks and then vomiting.

Everyone's different and I've heard some women don't get hg in subsequent pregnancies. Maybe when you're 7-8 weeks you might feel nausea. I know some women don't have any vomiting or nausea in their pregnancies! Please don't worry you've had a scan and everything looks good. I'd just be grateful there's no hg yet. Everyone i vomit I shake and think please let me die instead of this.

The sex of the baby made a massive difference to my symptoms.

HG from 4.5wks to 14 weeks. Hospital admission at 8 weeks- Boy

Debilitating nausea but no vomiting from 6wks to 18wks- Girl

I’m so sorry to hear that you are suffering so much, HG really is horrific! I hope you’ve got some support!

im trying to be thankful but I can’t shake the feeling something must be wrong!! Even after the scan!! I’m driving myself insane!! ♥️♥️

I've only had one, but my HG didn't start until 7 weeks, from what I've seen on HG pages I'm part of, that seems to be quite a common tune for it to start

Mine didnt start till 7 weeks and then i wished it hadnt! Hang in there
all three have been horrific HG

Hi, I have had 6 with bad HG, hospitalisation and fluid nothing helped accept hospital.
Now I am on my 7th pregnancy and in 6 weeks no vomit been to doctor and no scan as yet I am sick worried because I think is a miscarriage as I have a light back pain and my nausea seem to gone and no appetite to eat, while last week I had all the pregnancy symptoms.
I will update with a new info once scan done.

There’s some new research in the New scientist about the causes of HG. Relates to your sensitivity to the hormone GDF15, more exposure e.g. through previous pregnancies may mean you are less sensitive to it this time: https://twitter.com/mjflepage/status/1666804270883311620?s=46&t=PiUJZP-Nfmb_Hh6hIkfxjg
