Hi I am looking for some reassurance of other mums to be that may have had a similar situation. On Tuesday I was 7 weeks and 2 days. I had a very stressful morning and that afternoon I noticed brown spotting. I went to the loo (for a no.2) and noticed very light blood when I wiped almost like strawberry squash. I checked again about 20 mins later some light bleeding only to wipe not in a pad or in the loo this time. And by evening it was gone. The next morning I had brown spotting but gone by 11am and nothing since. Tuesday evening the night of the light bleed I had Diarrhoea but gone after one lol trip. I’ve not had cramps just some slight discomfort very very limited and I’ve had backache but again not unusual I’m a cleaner so very active. I’ve still got my tiredness, feeling nauseous and now I have lots of burping, bloating and indigestion. I have an early scan tomorrow. Please has anyone had similar and been ok? I’m so worried.

Hi OP, sorry you are going through this worry. With me it happened few months ago. I was 8 weeks when I noticed brown discharge only when wiping. I had a scan which showed only sac but no fetus. So basically they said blighted ovum, after one week i had a miscarriage. Sometimes brown spotting doesn’t cause any by any problem. So prayers for you.

I had a lot of spotting in early pregnancy, it was always brown / light pink and only when I wiped. Midwife wasn’t concerned and told me not to worry unless it turned bright red or got heavier, it didn’t. It totally stopped around week 10 and not had any issues since. They did tell me to take it as easy as I could, probably hard when you’re a cleaner but maybe try to rest as much as you can outside of cleaning. Fingers crossed for you.
